Bill Kelly: media and pop culture educator
Bill Kelly holds a Master of Education Degree in Crosscultural Teaching; California Clear Credential in Social Sciences, and Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and Clear Crosscultural Language and Academic Development Certificate (C.L.A.D.). Since teaching his first high school class in Inglewood, CA in 1997, he continues to demonstrate his devotion to motivating and educating high school youth as a history teacher in Los Angeles County. Mr. Kelly is relentlessly committed to teaching powerful and practical thinking, learning, and living skills for all youth; resulting in more creative, responsible, and participating global citizens. His research interests and areas of expertise include: media literacy; culture building; critical pedagogy and transformative teaching in all schools; critical and skillful literacy, culturally empowering education, and collaborative parent, student and teacher development.
